ANP has reserved 600 seats for those who wish to attend the Holy Father’s general audience on the morning of October 29. Those who would like to register must select the option in the registration form.
The audience typically starts at 09.00 AM. About an hour earlier, Pope begins the ride by Papamobile among the faithful. For this reason a departure from the hotel at 7:00AM is scheduled. The audience lasts about two hours (until 11:00/11:30 AM) and, with the exception of the initial greeting, the Pontiff’s reflections are in Italian (although they are repeated in the main international languages).
The transfer from the Marriott Park Hotel to St. Peter’s and back will be by bus. For more logistical information regarding the event, please check the Info tab of the website.
Things to Know Before You Go
- Tip: Try to find a seat along the aisle. The Pope will pass through the crowd, giving you a better chance to see him up close.
- Strict Dress Code: Knees and shoulders must be covered.
- Silence Your Phone: Mobile phones must remain on silent mode when inside the Basilica.
- Accessibility: This experience is accessible for guests using wheelchairs, strollers, and mobility aids.
