📍Papal Visit – Wednesday, October 29, 2025
For participants who registered for the Papal general audience visit via the conference registration form, please review the logistics below:
➤ Important Reminder for All Participants: All attendees are required to carry valid identification for entry into Vatican City and security screening. EU citizens should bring an official national ID card, while non-EU citizens must bring a passport. Please avoid bringing any items that may be prohibited or could delay the security process. Examples of such items are weapons and sharp objects, large/oversized bags, large umrellas, glass objects or containers, etc.
➤ If you are staying at the Rome Marriott Park Hotel:
· Breakfast: Served from 6:00 AM.
· Shuttle Departure: Buses will arrive and begin boarding at 6:50 AM and depart promptly at 7:00 AM from the hotel entrance.
➤ If you are not staying at the conference hotel:
· Meeting Point: Piazza del Sant’Uffizio, 9a, 00165 Roma RM, in front of the Church of St. Peter in Borgo (St. Pietro in Borgo), just outside Vatican City. ESHA flags will be visible. Photo of the meeting point and ESHA flag are attached.
· Meeting Time: 7:45AM. Please plan to arrive on time. We strongly recommend planning your route in advance and allowing extra time for travel.
· Please note that a seat will be reserved for you from the Papal Visit to the Conference venue, in the event you’d like to join the group back to the Conference hotel.
📍School Visits – Thursday, October 30, 2025
For participants who registered and purchased access to the school visits, a separate email will be sent to you with the following details: your assigned school, group, and scheduled departure time from the Rome Marriott Park Hotel. Shuttles will depart between 8:00 AM and 8:30 AM, depending on your assigned school, and emails have been sent to each participant. If you have been confirmed and purchased the optional school visit event, and you have not received an email, please contact esha2025@anp.it.
📸 Pictures and Videos during the Conference
For participants who indicated they do not wish to be photographed or filmed, a designated area will be available at the back of the plenary room. This section will be clearly marked and excluded from all recordings and photography.
🍽 Meals at the Marriott Hotel:
Breakfast will be provided only for participants staying at the Marriott Hotel. Breakfast will be served at 6:00AM on 29 October, and 6:30AM on the 30th and 31st of October in the Botticelli Hall of the Marriott Hotel.
Lunches will be provided only for participants staying at the Marriott hotel and those who have purchased lunch in advance. We remind you there are limited lunch options near the venue, so if you plan to eat onsite, we strongly encourage you to pre-purchase lunch by emailing esha2025@serafinieventi.com . The lunch will be served at 12:30PM each day, in the Botticelli Hall of the Marriott Hotel.
Both “Vacanze Romane” dinner on 29th of October, and Gala dinner on 30th of October will be available for participants who have reserved their seat in advance. Both dinners will take place in the Botticelli Hall of the Marriott Hotel.
